How to upload a video to be used in a workout/dryland plan
Once logged in, click "Exercise Library' on the left menu, Then click the +ADD NEW EXERCISE button on the top right.
Fill out this form and click save at the bottom.
- Fill in the exercise name, what category it falls under, and what sport it relates to.
- Description: These are "instructions" that an athlete will view on how to do the exercise or drill.
- Tags: When adding a tag, hit enter after each tag you type in. Tags help to quickly bring up and identify groups of drills and exercises. This could be "toe drag", "dryland", or "sprints" etc. You can then search by tags in the workout builder.
- Video: You can upload a video from your computer or paste a link to a video you watch online. The system will automatically convert the file to an mp4 if it's in a different format. If pasting in a link make sure to include the https://.
- Thumbnail: The thumbnail is a static image you see when looking at the library. This helps to identify what the drill or exercise is quickly. You can take a screenshot of the video and use it for the thumbnail. If you leave this blank then the image will show up as a blue screen until you hover over the video.
Click save. If the system needs to convert the file it could take a little longer to save.
